From Early Member to Chapter President: A DBC Leadership Story

A Journey From Day One

My journey with Dubai Bizz Connect (DBC) has been both meaningful and memorable from day one. Being part of DBC from its very beginning, as one of the first members, has been a proud experience. In a short span, DBC has already created a strong platform that brings together entrepreneurs, professionals and business leaders with a shared vision of collaboration, growth and meaningful connections.

From Early Member to Chapter President

My journey within DBC has evolved from being an early member to taking on the responsibility of Code Leader and today, proudly serving as the President of Chapter 1. This journey is not just a position or title for me, it represents trust, teamwork and the opportunity to contribute towards building something impactful for the business community.

What Makes DBC Special

What makes DBC special is its people, its energy and its genuine commitment to creating value for members. It is more than a networking forum; it is a growing ecosystem where businesses support each other, opportunities are created and relationships are built on trust and mutual growth.

The Power of Collaboration

As an entrepreneur, I strongly believe in the power of collaboration and DBC reflects that spirit. Seeing the forum grow, members engage actively and businesses connect meaningfully gives me immense pride and motivation.

Gratitude to the Community

I would like to sincerely thank the founders, leadership team, fellow members and everyone who trusted me with the opportunity to lead Chapter 1. Your encouragement, collaboration and belief have been invaluable.

The Takeaway

Though DBC is still a young forum, its vision, momentum and potential are truly inspiring. I am proud to be part of this journey from the beginning and look forward to contributing to its continued growth and success. Together, we are not just building a business forum — we are building a strong business community.

Frequently Asked Question (FAQ)

The best way to find quality networking events in Dubai is through established forums like Dubai Bizz Connect, LinkedIn event listings, Eventbrite, and industry-specific associations. We recommend starting with one structured forum before spreading yourself across too many events.

Absolutely. In fact, SMEs arguably benefit more from networking than large corporations because they lack the marketing budgets to generate brand awareness at scale. For an SME in Dubai, a single strong referral from a trusted network member can be worth the equivalent of months of digital advertising.

Most business professionals in Dubai begin to see tangible referrals and introductions within three to six months of consistent networking participation. The key word is consistent – networking is a long-term investment, not a one-time activity.
